Environmental policy

Our environmental policy is as follows:

• We must always prevent environmental pollution.
• Our environmental work should take into account the established regional environmental objectives.
• Our employees, co-contractors and their drivers are trained in business-related
  environmental knowledge so that they are encouraged to take active environmental action.
• By using locally produced wood as our main raw material, we are contributing to a sustainable
  development and a long-term good environment.
• We will measure our most significant environmental impacts.
• We strive for environmentally friendly machinery and transport solutions.
• When investing in vehicles, the best possible environmental class should be prioritised.
• A circular approach should be pursued.
• We will endeavour to economize energy resources.
• We will comply with all applicable environmental laws and other environmental requirements relevant to our activities.
• We will impose environmental requirements on suppliers of goods and services and when renting premises.
• We must be prepared for environmental emergencies.
• The suitability of the environmental policy is evaluated during management reviews.
• We will make our environmental policy understandable to our employees, co-suppliers, and
  vehicle drivers and known to our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
