The Tegsnäs ski has been around for 115 years and has been designed to have the best carrying capacity. The centre of gravity allows the skier to float on the snow and the properties are fantastic. The unique ski tip prevents the ski from digging into loose snow. Since the skis do not have a steel edge, they are also very gentle if you have a dog with you, for example.
With Tegsnäs wooden skis, you get a completely different feel than a plastic ski. You feel nature under your feet and can be completely confident that the material is durable all the way through. Our skis are based on over a hundred years of tradition.
The skis are unique, just like snowflakes. No two are exactly the same.
Wood is a natural, living material and there is no machine to mass produce our skis. Experienced ski makers cut, mould, polish, glue and varnish them.
Tegsnäs ski is a genuine and authentic craft.
