Craftsmanship

Tradition, quality and technology. We offer both craftsmanship and state-of-the-art machinery.

We work with the best material in the world - wood! It is living, environmentally friendly and of high quality. It is also cost-effective.

Craftsmanship, professionalism and pride permeate our thinking throughout the company. What we do is carried out with feeling, competence, pride and responsibility, whether it is production, development of new products or customer service. The basis of our production is solid craftsmanship combined with today's state-of-the-art and efficient machines as well as the great commitment of our employees.

Modern machinery and processes

Tegsnäs Group buys and processes around 60,000 cubic metres of sawn timber every year. The volume has increased almost 25 per cent in recent years. The growth has been made possible thanks to our employees, a broader customer base and investments. Investments in recent years include a new machine line, a new timber intake and a new sorting and packing line. We have also invested in digitally controlled maintenance and digital customer recipes. Operational reliability in production is therefore very high and we know exactly what the customer's requirement specification looks like and we can constantly make accurate follow-ups.

A real craftsmanship

But not everything in our business is built around modern machines and processes. For example, our Tegsnäs skis are made entirely by hand, from cutting the raw material to gluing, sanding and lacquering the blanks. It takes both experience and skill to be a ski maker. The manufacturing process consists of no less than 52 steps!

Professional pride and quality

We are very flexible and work purposefully to create efficient production. We strive for short lead times and thanks to our employees' professional expertise, our machinery and our fine wood raw material, we achieve high quality in our products.

These are some of the many benefits that our customers appreciate.
